To write her book Let’s Become Fungal!: Mycelium Teachings and the Arts, curator and researcher Yasmine Ostendorf-Rodríguez spoke with indigenous wisdom keepers, artists, curators, feminists, and mycologists about the growing interest in fungi and the entanglements, both practical and metaphorical, that we can learn from the Fungi Kingdom.

In this video (-essay), some excerpts from the interviews that make up the 12 Fungi teachings are presented in the text. These teachings around collaboration, decoloniality, non-linearity, toxicity, biomimicry, death, and being non-binary can inspire artists, collectives, organizations, educators, leaders, designers, scientists, anthropologists, change agents, and many others to be more fungal in their ways of working and being.
